Jeremy Whitt

Jeremy T. Whitt joined Gierke Frank after practicing more than 14 years with one of Wisconsin’s largest business and real estate law firms. Jeremy provides counsel for a wide range of businesses, including clients in the automotive, petroleum and real estate industries. Jeremy has extensive experience with various kinds of residential and commercial real estate (including vacant land, multifamily, retail/shopping centers, office, condominiums and industrial properties), as well as various real estate activities (including acquisitions, sales, leasing, leasebacks, management, brokerage, development, construction, financing, investment, syndications and tenancies in common). Independently from GF, Jeremy serves as Vice President and General Counsel for a large Wisconsin auto dealer group, and as Manager and Broker for a Wisconsin real estate brokerage firm.

  • Representations involving various types of business organizations (corporations, limited liability companies, limited partnerships, trusts and other entities) on wide range of business matters, including formation; operating agreements; partnership agreements; transfer restrictions; joint ventures; mergers and acquisitions; regulatory compliance; human resources; health plans; vendor and customer contracts; and day-to-day operations
  • Representations involving businesses in specific industries, such automotive dealerships (including franchise and dealership law, acquisitions, compliance and operations), petroleum distributors, retail gas station and convenience store owners and operators (including PMPA, supply agreements and environmental matters) and ethanol plant owners (including development, construction, financing, licensing and operation)
